Guru Purnima, time to celebrate all those who've taught us something

Updated: Sep 26, 2019

Glowing full moon on Guru Purnima! This is a tradition dedicated to spiritual and academic teachers, or evolved, beings who have shared their wisdom with you in a manner that has enriched or deepened your knowledge, or life experience. Though it's traditionally celebrated by Buddhists, Hindus and Jains, anyone can partake in this wonderful tradition. If you have ever had a guru, which simply means someone who has "taken you from darkness to light" (could even be a parent/ boss / friend/ animal)... look at the moon, think of them, recall the lesson, and express your gratitude. You can do it even if you can't see the moon :)
